Who we are today

 

Broudy Precision is a Honeywell Authorized Distributor who has recently been recognized by Honeywell as a “Diamond Distributor”. As one of the only eleven Diamonds in the country, Broudy enjoys a number of advantages that benefit you, our customer.

One such benefit is our ability to direct ship most Honeywell control products to our customers. Not only will the products be shipped directly to you, but it will be done at no additional cost! That really comes in handy when having the material the next business day is important. Most times we will be able to complete your order from the extensive inventory maintained throughout our three branches and deliver it free of charge on one of our delivery trucks or ship via UPS. When branch delivery is not an option, direct shipping ensures that you will have your product the next day if need be. Another advantage of our Diamond status is in the allocation of inventory from Honeywell. In cases of short supply, Diamonds and our customers will get first preference.

 

In addition to Honeywell, Precision carries a complete line of HVAC equipment and supplies. Some of our more popular lines include: Goodman Equipment, Crown Boilers,  Weil-Mclain, A.O. Smith water heaters, Bell & Gossett, Armstrong, Fireye, and many more items as shown in our attached line card.

 

Precision’s diversity is shown in more ways than just our extensive inventory, it is also exemplified in our outstanding employees. We pride ourselves on answering any questions that our customers may have. We have personnel with over 40 years experience in control systems (Ernie Eichenberg, III), 40 years in boilers/burners (In addition we have Honeywell Authorized Trainers:  Joe Chandler, and Greg Hoyer, as well as a recognized Honeywell DDC expert in Ernie Eichenberg IV. Even with all this experience and expertise our entire sales and support staff understands that their primary responsibility is to support you, our loyal customer.

 

The most recent change at Broudy has to do with the Honeywell Authorized Contractors. We have rededicated ourselves to providing the PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA and D.C. areas with the absolute best trained and highly qualified contractors for the design and installation of the Honeywell Excel System. Broudy is a conduit for engineers and end users to become familiar with the Excel System and to specify such projects. Our highly qualified team of Authorized Control Integrators (ACI) and Automation & Control Specialist (ACS) is capable of completing your most sophisticated control project. We continue to maintain a Honeywell Trained Engineer to support this contractor base as well as provide panel fabrication and CAD assistance for our contractors.

Our History

 

In 1919 Fannie and Arthur Broudy opened a small hardware store in North Philadelphia. With much hard work and perseverance the small hardware store became a success. As the business grew, the need for employees also grew.  So in the 1940’s they were joined by their sons Jules and Irv.

 

Over the years Broudy Hardware developed into the Broudy Supply Co. Broudy Supply soon became the major distributor of plumbing and heating supplies for the entire Delaware Valley.

 

By 1964 Broudy Supply was ready to make a more concentrated move towards the HVAC equipment and controls business. This move would prove to be quite smart and it opened the door towards a whole new market. It would also be the birth of Broudy Precision.

 

In 1970 a branch in New Jersey was added. Then in 1994 another branch was added in Northeast, Philadelphia.

 

By 1998 Broudy Precision decided that in order to serve a larger customer base, a move would be required. That move took Broudy Precision from North Philadelphia to West Conshohocken where the main branch still resides today.
